Posters: please bring a printed poster that is in ‘portrait’ format (vertical, not landscape) and max. size A1. You can stick your poster to one of the boards in the launch hall anytime before the start of the Poster session. Boards are not pre-allocated, so you can choose the one you prefer. Pins or blue tack will be available. You can also bring business cards or other material for distribution, although we won’t have allocated tables (there will be chairs you could use for this purpose.) There is an allocated time slot for the poster session, however you will be able to leave your poster there for the whole duration of the conference and could talk to delegates during lunches  both days, if you wish.

Presentations: all sessions are 90 minutes long. Some sessions have three presenters, some have four. If you are in a session with three, you will have approx. 25-30 minutes, including presentation and questions. If you are allocated to a session with four presenters, you will have approx. 20 minutes, including questions. Please check the final programme shortly before the conference, in case any change is made (although this shouldn’t be the case). Please bring your presentation of a memory stick or other portable device, and go to the room of your session 10 minutes before your session start, to upload your powerpoint presentation. This will ensure a prompt start.

Panels/workshops/special sessions: some panels or workshops have a different format. If you are chairing a panel or special session, please make sure you clarify this with everyone included in the panel.

Film session: this will be a session where the authors will be present and available to comment their work.

Food Journey: attendance to this session, that runs twice (as part of Track M, in timeslot 1 and 6), will require registration in advance of the conference, to enable the organiser to prepare. Please see details in red in the programme.

As announced, there will be one or more publications (journal special issue or book) with selected papers from the conference.

We are behind with the selection process, hence notification of acceptance to the authors/presenters will happen immediately before or after the conference. Apologies for any inconvenience.

The electronic conference proceedings – including the short papers that we have received over the past weeks – will be published on the website after the conference (unless authors have opted-out explicitly).
